CLIENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Agreement to Terms

By participating in services provided by Keybi Hypnosis, the Client agrees to the following Terms and Conditions, which apply to all hypnosis and coaching services delivered by Mikki Milligan, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Leadership Coach (“Hypnotherapist”), to any individual or organization (“the Client”). These terms constitute the full agreement and understanding between the Client and Hypnotherapist and are effective upon scheduling and payment of the first session.

  1. Services Provided

Keybi Hypnosis offers hypnotherapy and coaching services for personal development, emotional healing, mindset transformation, and professional growth. Services may include:

  • Individual hypnosis and/or coaching sessions
  • Program packages
  • In-person or Zoom sessions
  • Guided recordings, assessments, and follow-up tools via a secure client portal
  1. Session Format & Scheduling

Sessions are conducted either in-person at:

415 Dunlawton Ave, Suite 107, Port Orange, FL 32127
or via Zoom, as agreed.

Clients must arrive on time or 5 minutes early. Arrivals more than 5 minutes after the scheduled time will be marked as missed. Sessions must be scheduled via the client portal. The Client is solely responsible for managing appointments.

  1. Coaching & Hypnosis Program Packages

Program packages include multiple sessions and services to be used within 6 months of the last session date unless otherwise agreed. Payment terms, scope of services, and expiration timelines will be confirmed in writing via email and client portal.

  1. Payment Terms

All sessions must be paid in full or first installment prior to the scheduled appointment via credit or debit card through the client portal. Participation in the first paid session constitutes acceptance of this agreement. Third-party payments on behalf of the client are also bound by these terms.

  1. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Clients may cancel or reschedule sessions with at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a $50 non-refundable fee. Late arrivals (over 5 minutes) will be marked as “missed”. No-shows and same-day cancellations forfeit the session payment. No refunds are provided for missed or late-canceled sessions. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.

  1. Early Termination of Services

The Hypnotherapist reserves the right to terminate the therapeutic relationship or decline future sessions if:

  • The Client exhibits inappropriate behavior, including sexual comments, fantasies, or suggestive language
  • The Client violates professional boundaries or becomes disruptive
  • There is a conflict of interest or ethical concern
  • The Hypnotherapist believes continued sessions are no longer in the Client’s best interest

If terminated, the Client will be notified where practicable and refunded for prepaid sessions not yet delivered.

  1. Confidentiality

All personal information shared in session is confidential and will not be disclosed without written consent, except:

  • When required by law
  • When there is a risk of harm to self or others
  • Clients may request access to their records at any time.
  1. Hypnotherapist Disclosure

The Hypnotherapist commits to using her professional skills to support the Client’s goals with integrity, confidentiality, and respect. Although transformative results are common, outcomes depend on the Client’s willingness to engage in the process fully.

  1. Health Disclaimer & Medical Referral

Hypnosis is a complementary modality and not a substitute for licensed medical or psychological care. Clients currently diagnosed with epilepsy, seizures, personality disorders, psychosis, or who are witnesses in legal trials are advised not to undergo hypnosis.

For hypnosis related to medical or psychological conditions (e.g., pain, trauma, addiction, IBS), a written referral from a licensed medical or mental health provider is required in accordance with Florida law.

  1. Substance Use Policy

To ensure safety and effectiveness, hypnosis is not offered to clients actively using substances such as:

  • Fentanyl
  • Heroin
  • Methamphetamines
  • Cocaine
  • Alcohol (abuse or dependency)

Clients must be substance-free for at least 30 consecutive days before beginning sessions.

  1. Client Responsibility

The Hypnotherapist guides the process, but the Client is responsible for their choices, progress, and actions. No guarantee is made regarding specific outcomes. The Hypnotherapist is not liable for financial, personal, or emotional losses perceived by the Client related to participation in services.

  1. Record Retention

Client records will be maintained for no less than 5 years in digital or print format in accordance with ethical standards and legal requirements. Session recordings will be stored on the client portal for up to 12 months after last session. It is advised the client download each session recording for their records.

  1. Termination by Client

Clients may terminate services with two weeks’ written notice. Any sessions or services rendered up to the date of termination are non-refundable.

  1. Limited Liability

The Hypnotherapist provides services in good faith but makes no express or implied warranties. The Hypnotherapist shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from services provided.

  1. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and all disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Florida courts.
